Axioma servisas: industrial engineering services website
A website for an integrated engineering services company, structured by service and by industry for industrial buyers.
A law firm website with eight practice areas and a separate section for notable cases.
ProblemThe firm works in eight areas of law and serves both businesses and private individuals. A long list of specialisms on a website easily turns into chaos where visitors cannot find their own situation.
SolutionPractice areas are the first content block, each with its own page, the team is presented with their specialisms, and experience is shown with restraint, without a sensational tone. Contact details for both cities appear on every page.
A law firm's website speaks to someone who is often in one of the most unpleasant situations of their life, and it has to convince them they will get help here. People choose a firm more on trust than on a list of services.
The firm also works with two very different audiences. A business client looks for a long-term partner for commercial transactions. A private individual arrives with one specific case and is often in a hurry.
The firm specialises in eight areas of law: from business and intellectual property law to criminal, transport, sports and medical law. This range is a strength, but on a website it easily turns into chaos where visitors cannot find their own situation.
Experience also had to be presented properly. The firm has represented clients in cases that were widely discussed in public. This is its strongest argument, but it has to be presented with restraint, because in the legal market overt self-promotion puts people off.
Practice areas are shown in the first content block, and each has its own page. A visitor with a specific problem finds their area in one click and does not have to browse all of the firm's services.
The team is presented with photos and specialisms. In legal services clients choose a specific lawyer, so their face and field matter more than a general description of the firm.
Experience is presented as a list of cases with brief context. The wording is restrained, with no judgements and no details that could harm former clients.
The firm works in two cities, so contact details for both appear at the top of every page: someone in a hurry does not go looking for a contact page.
The news section comments on changes in legislation. These texts help the firm stay visible in search and demonstrate its expertise at the same time.
Practice areas first. Visitors come to the website looking for a solution to their problem and care less about the firm's history. So the firm introduction was deliberately moved further down.
Contacts for both cities at the top. Legal help is often needed the same day, so the phone number is visible immediately, whichever page the visitor is on.
Restrained presentation of experience. Well-known cases are described without emotive wording. This is a deliberate decision: the firm's reputation matters more than a short-term impression.
